We will leave from Barcelona and head to the region of La Costa Brava & Empordà, located 1 hour and 20 minutes north of Barcelona. Also known as the Catalan Tuscany, the Costa Brava and Empordà region is a quiet place of great natural beauty, famous for its amazing coast, its small medieval villages and for being the region where Salvador Dalí lived and developed much of his work. During this tour we will visit some of the most iconic places of the area. We will start the day visiting the area known as “l’Empordanet” and visit the medieval villages of Pals or Peratallada, where we will stroll through the small streets while we discover the history and charm of its churches and stone architecture. Between village and village, we will contemplate the beautiful landscapes. We will have lunch in the fishermen towns of Sa Tuna, Calella de Palafrugell or Aiguablava… where besides eating good fresh fish or a “paella” by the sea, we will be able to take a refreshing swim in the clean and refreshing waters of the Costa Brava. After lunch, we will enjoy a quiet walk along el Camí de Ronda, a coastal path that follows the rugged coastline of the Costa Brava. We will also stroll around the villages of Calella de Palafrugell or Begur and visit interesting shops selling ceramics, handicrafts and local products. We can also have a coffee in the town’s square while contemplating the local atmosphere.
