Toledo is one of the most beautiful cities of Spain, an amazing museum without doors, full of history, culture and art. Former capital of the Spanish empire was declared a World Heritage Site in 1986. It is also known as the City of Three Cultures, for the coexistence for centuries of the Arabic, Christian and Jewish cultures. After a 50 minute drive, we will arrive in Toledo and enjoy a nice view of the city from the outside, where its walls of Roman origin outstand. Then we will enter the old town of Toledo and start a walking tour through the medieval streets to reach the Cathedral of Santa Maria, of Gothic architecture and current archdiocese of Toledo. Later we will head to the Jewish quarter, the neighbourhood where we can still find the only two synagogues representing the Jewish population of Toledo. We will also visit the Mosque of Cristo de la Luz. We will end the tour at the Church of Santo Tomé visiting one of the most famous works by El Greco, Entierro del Conde Orgaz. Throughout the tour our guide will explain countless stories, anecdotes and curiosities of the city.
