The Costa Brava, in addition to being known worldwide for the beauty of its coasts, is also recognized for the quality of the seafood provided by its sea. One of the most appreciated seafood of this coast is the prawn, and more specifically the one that’s fished in Palamós (a fishing village of the Costa Brava). With this unique and special experience we offer you the possibility of spending a whole day aboard a fishing boat with professional fishermen, learn about the trade and enjoy the Mediterranean in a different way. The day will begin at dawn. Once in the sea and after a breakfast made with local products, work operations will start with the detection and monitoring of the catches that we can observe from the cabin and control. Later we will see how the survey of the net and selection of catches is made, where we will be invited to participate, always following the instructions of the crew. Once we have returned to port, we will make a tasting of freshly caught prawns, accompanied by a glass of local wine. After that, if we wish, we can visit the market where the fish is auctioned.
