In this sense, wine’s culture, tradition and landscape are a symbol of Catalonia and a vital part of its history. Just 45 minutes from Barcelona, in the wine area of El Penedés (one of the most important wine areas of Spain) lies some small and unique family owned wineries. We propose you to visit one of these amazing wineries together with our passionate and super specialist sommelier. On arrival, you will wonder through the vineyard, which will inspire you to learn more about the history and importance of wine in Catalonia. You will discover the old winery where some wines are still produced today and we will have the chance also to see the modern one, where technology, innovation and traditional methods are merged resulting in some of the country’s best-valued wines. After the stroll we will taste some white, red and rosé wines in the former dining-room, where we will also enjoy an excellent Catalan style lunch. Throughout the visit, tasting and lunch, our sommelier will explain everything that will make our visit very special and will help us to feel the wine culture of the area in a very special way.
